~Week recap and 30 weeks~

I still can't believe I am already 30 weeks along! When I was first pregnant I never thought this time would come because I was SO sick, but now I look back and see how it has flown by!

This past week has been very busy again! Jeff and I got to go up to Indiana to meet our new nephew!
Isn't he just adorable! He was the best cuddler too!
We had a great time relaxing and catching up with his family while we were there!

On Monday Jeff and I started watching two boys from church during the day and we have been playing lots of games. Mainly Monopoly. Jeff was ruthless the first game because the poor boys didn't know how to play, but the second time Jeff started to teach them strategy. Even though Jeff has been whoopin our tails, we have been having a great time!

For the past month I have been on a hunt for a nightstand for the baby room. I have searched craiglist everyday, went to every used furniture store this town has to offer, hit up garage sales almost every weekend, went to the Habitat Restore every week. I never found anything.  Until yesterday! The search finally ended!!! I was so happy to find this beauty!

It is going to look amazing! I plan on sanding it down and painting it robins egg blue! I can't wait to see the final product!

I'll leave you with the 30 week recap! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Excuse the frumpiness! I've had a cold the past day or so!
Pregnancy Highlights this Week:

How Far Along: 30 weeks

Size of baby: {weight of} a head of cabbage

Measurements: about 15.7 inches, about 3 pounds

Baby Milestones: eyesight continues to develop, eyebrows and eyelashes are fully developed, will gain about 1/2 a pound a week until 38 weeks, hands fully formed and fingernails growing

Best Moment this week: Finally finding a nightstand and date night with my hubby! We went to a new burger place here in town called Freddy's Steakburgers and it was AWESOME!

Gender: girl: Abigail Grace

Movement: She is still a mover. Lately all her kicks have been up in my ribs and not always the most comfortable!

Food/Drink Craving: not really!

Sleep: sleep is kinda crummy the past few nights. Struggling getting comfortable with my ever growing belly and my back pains. Once I am comfortable though I often times sleep really well.

What I am looking forward to: working on redoing the nightstand and glider for Abigail's room!

Symptoms: Well Jeff and I both have colds or something that are not fun. Other than the usual lower back discomfort I haven't experienced any other symptoms.

29 Weeks

I did it! I am posting two weeks in a row! Whoop whoop!

It has been a busy past few days. Jeff and I have been going strong trying to get things situated into the house and getting the nursery set up. I have been searching this town high and low for a used night stand that I can paint for the babies room. Still no luck but I know I will find it!

I have also been sewing up a storm. My mom requested that I make some pacifier clips to sell at Canton in her booth so I made a few to see how they do.

Then I made some fabric envelopes for me. Jeff and I are in the transition of a cash only system with our budget. We have only done it for a month but so far I am liking it. I thought it would be more fun with cute fabric envelopes. How cute are these? I love them!

Now here is an update on my pregnancy!

Pregnancy Highlights for the Week:

How Far Along: 29 weeks. Where did the time go?

Fruit/Veggie: The weight of a butternut squash

Size: a little over 15 inches, 2.5 pounds

Baby changes: Abigail now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. Her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and her head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. His bones are soaking up lots of calcium these days. This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited into his hardening skeleton each day. My uterus is now about 3 to 4 inches above my belly button.

Best Moment this week: Celebrated 8 Months of marriage with my hubby!
Gender: Girl, Abigail Grace

Movement: She is still a big mover! I feel her mostly in the mornings and a nights but if I rest during the day, I can feel her doing flips and turns and kicks in my stomach. Still such a weird, amazing feeling to me.

Food Craving: I haven't had any cravings this week.

Sleep: Sleep has been off and on this week. Most nights I only wake up once or twice, but there are some nights I am tossing and turning all night long.

What I am looking forward to: going to Indiana to visit Stephen, Lydia and the newest Keefauver, Grayson! So excited! I am also looking forward to continuing to set up the nursery!

Symptoms: Lower back still hurts but I think this will stick with me from now on. Other than that I am just tired. I have been really busy the past week and now it is catching up with me!

28 Weeks

WOW!! Time sure has flown. I have be AWFUL at documenting my pregnancy thus far. Hopefully I will get better at it!

There has been lots of changes since my last post. The biggest one is Jeff and I bought a house and moved in. We are still trying to get everything organized but thanks to the help of my family most of the house is in order and boxes are unpacked! WOO HOO! We LOVE our new place. We loved being settled in OUR home. I love putting up decorations or coming up with ideas to make it feel homey to us. Most of those things have been put on hold a little now that I am trying to get the nursery all put together!

At the beginning of the June, Jeff and I got to go to San Francisco to see his cousin graduate from high school. We had a great time. We got to relax and spend time with his family. I got to meet up with my friend who lives there and spend the day with her. And we got to spend a day sight seeing in San Fran!

From San Fran I went straight to visit my brother, sister in law and niece in Hawaii for 9 days. It was hard being away from Jeff that long, but I was really thankful that I got to spend some time with them before Abigail comes. We had a blast!

The Keefauver's + 1

That's right! Jeff and I are having a baby! We were VERY surprised but we can't be more excited. Well I should say now that the morning sickness is not taking over my life I am getting very excited.
Proof!! Sorry if this is disturbing to you! :)

This was me almost two weeks ago. I'm 16 weeks along in this picture and starting to get a little bump. I am now 17 weeks.

We have seen the heartbeat 3 times and have heard it twice. It is strong and fast!

The pregnancy so far has not been very easy. I got sick starting about week 5 and stayed very sick until week 16. Let me tell you it is not fun, but I am thankful now to be eating things other than saltine crackers!

So let the games begin.... what do you think I will be having? A boy or a girl?

Welcome to Paradise Cove!

Welcome to Paradise Cove!

Sorry it has took me this long to finally finish my Hawaii trip. So Saturday night we went to a Luau! It was really fun and bonus... Adam got us the military discount! Holla!

What was neat about this was it was the same luau that I went to about 15 years ago! It is still exactly the same. The costumes and everything... except when I was a kid I didn't get all the innuendoes. Adam, Laura and I had a great time. We came in and they had crafts out on the tables. The first thing we did was make a floral bracelet. Even Adam joined in on the fun!

Then Laura made a crown!

See so pretty!

While she was making this They guy with the seashell horn came and they did a fashion show right where we were. Really they just showed us how to tie a sarong different ways.

Here is Laura and I during the "fashion show!"

They did several other shows but I was waiting in line to get a polynesian tattoo... so I didn't get any pictures... i didn't end up getting the tattoo either... I know. bummer but the line was taking forever and I had to go. While I was waiting in line for this tattoo I did get to see the shower of flowers event! So this guy climbed the tallest palm tree on the paradise cove property... see

There he goes

a little further!

Well he made it! and now it was time for the shower of flowers!

Well we made our way to the table after some pretty pictures.....

Now it was time to eat and enjoy the show! The food was really good and the show was fun. Naturally I was taking pictures the whole time. They aren't the greatest of pictures but hey they work!

Here is the food!

Here is the cool fire guy!

So the trip is almost over... but this post is long enough! I will write in the next day or so finishing out my trip! Aloha
