Only 5 weeks to go!

I still can't believe it is already September and I only have to wait till October to meet this little one! The countdown has begun.

This past week has been extremely productive and I am so thankful! My goal was to finish Abigail's room by the end of August just in case she decided to come early! We have pretty much finished everything! It is now just the little stuff we are lacking. Here is what this pretty girls room looks like! (Excuse all the stuff on the floor that hasn't been put away yet. I might change the layout too! we will see!)

Remember that nightstand? Looks awesome huh?
Not only were we productive in Abigail's room but my awesome hubby finished the buffet table for our kitchen! He did and AMAZING job! It is beautiful! Just what I wanted!

Jeff and I also wanted to do one last special trip before the baby came. We didn't go out of town but we had an amazing time! We stayed at the La Salle hotel in downtown Bryan(awesome by the way), we ate REALLY amazing sushi (shameless plug... if you ever want amazing sushi in town the place to go is 40 Tempura. Not only is the sushi just amazing but the service is phenomenal) , had really good conversations, had milk and cookies before bed... it was just wonderful! Here are some pictures!

Ummm... yeh we didn't really enjoy it. :) can't you tell!

Thanks La Salle!

This  boy really enjoys his milk!

34 weeks

Really... 34 weeks. That means there is only 6 weeks till my due date. That is CRAZY. I still can't believe it.

Lots of things have happened in the past two weeks!

~ I had both of my baby showers. I feel so blessed by my friends and family! This little girl will be the best dressed baby of the fall. I seriously think I will have to change her outfit several times a day if I want her to get through all of the clothes!

~My mom made the baby bedding for the crib! It turned out AMAZING! I just LOVE how it looks. Here are some pictures!

It is girly, yet not all pink and purple!
~Then my mom and I started making the wall art. It isn't up yet but here is a preview!

The name will be in the middle once it is done being painted! Isn't that just too cute though!

~Today I got my shipment of cloth diapers in! I am very excited about this. I know it will be challenging, and more different than disposables, but I think it will be great for our family! Here's the loot!  If you have any tips and tricks about cloth diapers, PLEASE send them my way! I have no idea what I am doing! :)

~My hubby has been working REALLY hard to get all the furniture painted and ready to go! I forgot to take pictures yesterday when he was working on it, but let me just tell you... it looks AMAZING!! I can't wait to show them off and get them in the room! I will post pictures soon!

Any who... Here is the update on Abigail!

Everyones comment when they see me now is that I am blossoming. HA
Pregnancy Highlights this Week:

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Size of baby: {weight of} a large cantaloupe

Measurements: 19-22 inches, 5.5 pounds

Baby Milestones: Fat layers are filling out the baby. The central nervous system is maturing, as well as the lungs.

Best Moment this week: My baby shower! It was such a blessing to have women pray over Jeff and I and Abigail.

Gender: girl!! Abigail Grace!

Movement: HOLY MOLY is this child moving. Poor girl is running out of room and this momma is paying for it. I don't just feel occasional kicks and movements anymore. I feel elbows, knees, hands and feet protruding out of my stomach. You can literally see, and feel them. It is the craziest thing I have ever felt!

Food/Drink Craving: My chocolate kick is over... give me some meat! haha! Mainly ground beef. It sounds so good every meal of the day.

Sleep: Sleep has improved a little from two weeks ago. I just now have to sleep with my body pillow, an additional pillow to hold on to, and a pillow behind my back. Oh and don't forget a pillow for my head. Jeff makes fun of me every night!

What I am looking forward to: finishing painting furniture, organizing and setting up the nursery.

Symptoms: Is having to go to the bathroom a million times a day a symptom? haha! I am tiring out a lot quicker here the past few days. I have also had more heartburn.

Well thats all folks!
